Andrea Morrell is Associate Professor of Anthropology at Guttman Community College, CUNY, where she teaches classes in the first year and in the Urban Studies program. Her book, Prison Town, about Elmira, New York as a prison town, is in contract with the University of Nebraska Press. She is on sabbatical for the 2023-2024 school year.
