I am working on a new project about Irishness and whiteness and the NYPD, particularly how and if new identities have emerged in reaction to Black Lives Matter. I am interested in the ways in which Irish American identities may obscure whiteness. I am also beginning a new project on ICE recruitment and counter-recruitment.
